George Martin liked the game!

Postby Jelly » 04 April 2012, 09:11

George R.R. Martin is “largely happy” with our game!

There is something truly rewarding knowing that we are big big fans of his books and wanted to be the most respectful as possible of his licence. :)

George R.R. Martin still keeps an eye on the development of the Game of Thrones RPG, and we are pleased and proud to invite you to read the article on vg247 where he states his feeling about the game! For him, “games can be a really fun way to interact with a literary world”!

Read the article on VG24

Well at least it's confirmed that the story should be good. I'm still cautious about gameplay. So any chance of a walkthrough anytime soon?

Good to know the author of the books liked the game though. That at least says something.

To be fair, he did feature the RTS on his blog (and that part couldn't be commented on hmmm) and he said he liked it.
So, no matter how much I like his books, I've learned not to trust his taste in games heh. So bring on a demo ^^,

As mentioned he also liked AGOT:G and with that knowledge I at least lost all faith of his taste for games.

Not at all. I have been tricked before and wantd to avoid other people from being too naive and getting tricked aswell. If that is complaining to you then fine, I can't do anything about that. Sure I'm cynical as hell but that's for a very good reason
